About Sue

Growing up in Southern California in the 70's and 80's I always felt there was something more to life than what it appeared to be. The sun shining through the clouds, the sparkles on the ocean, the stars - they all spoke to me in a language with no words. In 1983 Northern California was calling and I moved to San Francisco and attended SFSU. Music was my first path to the infinite and I found community in the music scene. The ocean and nearby forests, rivers and beauty fed me. I left SF after 10 years and relocated to Sonoma county where I raised my beautiful son and find myself now in a beautiful home in the trees of Forestville where the Green Valley Creek meets the Russian River. When I'm not teaching yoga you may find me ocean plunging, watercoloring or following a calling to a sacred site on our planet, Gaia. My yoga path began in 2015. Having spent 20 years teaching in the public school system in Santa Rosa, California I was realizing how hectic and crazy my outside world, and that of others around me, seemed to be. I was living with my parents and my 18 year old son, caring for my mom, who had taken a fall, teaching kindergarten and feeling very depleted. My mom's caregiver suggested that I go to yoga. I had taken a Hatha yoga class in college and loved it, but had forgotten about it. I googled 'yoga near me' and it happened to be a Kundalini yoga class on a Saturday morning... I was completely blown away.. It was strange, hard, and lovely all at the same time. Every Saturday morning I was there, and then started attending a Wednesday class. Kundalini yoga brought me peace and helped me wake up to my true nature. I was transformed and slowly began to realize my inner world was coming on line and my outer world was changing. After 10 years of practicing Kundalini yoga regularly, attending immersions and retreats, meditations and beginning to follow the whispers of far away places I decided to begin the teacher training journey. I attended the KRI teacher training in Nevada City and online with my beautiful teachers Krishna Kaur from LA and Jai Dev Singh (Life Force Academy). It was a nine month journey and this yoga teacher was born. I am dedicated to sharing this ancient technology with others who are finding their way. As a wayshower I like to think I hold the light for others searching in the darkness in hopes that they too can find the beautiful inner temple that I've found. I am honored to carry the ancient energies of Egypt, Maya temples, the American Southwest, Glastonberry, England, and Mt. Shasta with me. In my classes you'll benefit from the technology of Kundalini yoga, gain strength and awaken to your soul's calling and find community. In the words of Ram Das "We're all just walking each other home". I'd love to walk with you. Sue Linder (Arti NavPreet Kaur)

I am proud of my education and experience with 2 amazing and wise teachers. Both have been instrumental in helping me become who I am today.  I am grateful to them both for all they brought to my life.
